This is my 100th newsletter post (not counting the monthly posts to announce the webinars), with something special I want to launch
For the past decade, I have had the chance to work with thousands of researchers around the world, as well as research managers, librarians, journal editors, and funding organizations
One thing I've noticed is that we often work in silos
Great ideas stay inside research groups. Valuable experiences rarely leave a department. Practical advice about publishing, funding, AI, and research careers often never reaches the people who need it
Over the past few weeks alone, I have replied to hundreds of emails. Some of these 1-to-1 discussions become newsletters
And many of those questions, and their answers, could have helped hundreds of other researchers.
So I think we can do better.
That's why I'm excited to announce something I've been working on over the past few months.
A new online community built for researchers.
And I can see some of you already introduced themselves there - thanks!
My goal is simple: bring together people involved in the research ecosystem to learn, connect, and help each other grow.
Over the coming months, we will build the community together through discussions around:

Research funding
AI tools for researchers
Research productivity
Career development
Networking and collaborations
Research software and tools
And much more
I will post my answers to the frequently asked questions which will hopefully help others
I will also be sharing exclusive resources, practical guides, templates, and early access to some of the things I'm building
My vision goes beyond another discussion forum.
I want to create a place where researchers can find collaborators, discover opportunities, share best practices, ask questions without feeling judged, and build relationships that last beyond a single conference
Summer is usually a quieter period in academia, which makes it the perfect time to get started before things get busy again.
